Partnership with Ministry of Agriculture, OS Selnajaya Increases Job Opportunities for Young Indonesians in Agriculture in Japan

Jakarta, October 24, 2023: At the Agriculture Ministry (KEMENTAN) D Building, OS Selnajaya signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Agriculture Education Center (Pusat Pendidikan Pertanian/PUSDIKTAN), KEMENTAN, Republic of Indonesia, with the purpose of expanding and encouraging job opportunities for young Indonesian in Japan, including in agriculture sector. The Head of PUSDIKTAN, Idha Widi Arsanti, The Head of SMK Pertanian Pembangunan Banjarbaru, South Kalimantan and The Head of SMK Pertanian Pembangunan Sembawa, South Sumatera, and President Director of OS Selnajaya attended the event.

In partnership with PUSDIKTAN, the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Indonesia, OS Selnajaya will recruit and train alumni of SMK Pertanian Pembangunan (SMK PP) and Politeknik Pembangunan Pertanian (POLBANGTAN). OS Selnajaya's main focus is to assist them in developing their proficiency in the Japanese Language, Japanese Work Culture, and Technical Skills. This will help them to get the certificates they need for working in Japan with Specified Skilled Worker (SSW) VISA or through Technical Internship Training Program (TITP) scheme. With Japan having higher quality agriculture technology, Head of PUSDIKTAN Santi believes that the alumni who worked in Japan will gain fresh knowledge and skills.
